Scene Stealers One
(ages 6-8)
Description:
Developing imagination and creativity using a variety of theatre
activities: pantomime, puppetry, improvisation and introduction to play
performance. First Session: January 14, 21, 28; February 4, 11
Second Session: February 18, 25; March 4, 11, 18 Time / Day (Both Sessions): Thursdays, 5:10 - 6:00 p.m.
Tuition: $85 per session.
Scene Stealers Two
(ages 9-12)
Description:
Using theatre games, improvisation, pantomime and puppetry as a means
for character development. Monologue techniques, scene work and
theatre terms are introduced. First Session: January 12, 19, 26; February 2, 9
Second Session: February 16, 23; March 2, 9, 16 Time / Day (Both Sessions): Tuesdays, 5:10 - 6:00 p.m.
Tuition: $85 per session.
Teen Scene
(ages 13-high school)
Description:
Theatre games offering opportunities for the actor to experience the
complete improvisational process, from scenario writing to standup
comedy. Scene study is introduced. PUBLIC PERFORMANCE INCORPORATED. First Session: January 13, 20, 27; February 3, 10
Second Session: February 17, 24; March 3, 10, 17 Time / Day (Both Sessions): Wednesdays, 5:10 - 6:00 p.m.
Tuition: $85 per session.
Adult Scene-Study
(three 90-minute sessions)
Description:
Experiencing the scene study process via character development,
improvisation techniques, creative autobiographies and text analysis.
The Adult Scene Study class participants will have the opportunity to
perform in an improv, open-mic, or play event. Session Dates: To be announced. Time / Day: Wednesdays, 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. (ongoing session)
Tuition: $85 for three-week session.
